In Brownsville, TX the Mr. Amigo Association holds its largest annual fundraiser on Martin Luther King Day in January each year. This is a precursor to the Annual Charro Days Fiesta which takes place in Brownsville at the end of February. This long-standing beloved event includes:
Food from across the city, much of the cuisine specific to the border region. Complimentary beverages throughout the event, indoor and outdoor spaces, and Live music. Every year, locals outfitted in traditional Charro Days attire come from around the region to eat, drink, and dance!
